Decode da Code is file "decompression" utility which decodes uuencoded and base64-encoded Internet message file attachments, which are two common formats for encoding binary files attached to Internet News and email messages.
Decode da Code is a shareware application which decodes MIME Base64 and uuencoded files. Decode da Code is designed as a helper application for Internet News and email programs such as NewsWatcher, to extract binary files.
Decode da Code can figure out multi-part MIME mail messages, including ones in the AppleDouble format, and parse long filenames. It uses Internet Config to set the appropriate file type and creator codes, and to post-process the decoded file.
