Access Grid enables users to experience rich collaborations including people, data, and grid computing resources. The new 2.0 version of the toolkit includes streamlined user interfaces, robust middleware and low-level services that enable participants to share experiences through digital media.
The Access Grid is an ensemble of resources including multimedia large-format displays, presentation and
interactive environments, and interfaces to Grid middleware and to visualization environments. The resources are used to offer support for group-to-group interactions across the Grid.
